Who writes here

AAMIBlog publishes plain-English explainers written for the people who keep medical technology safe: clinical engineers and biomedical technicians, sterile processing professionals, cybersecurity staff, quality and regulatory leads, and the managers who support them. Contributors write from day-to-day practice, not from a marketing brief.

What we are looking for

• Clear explanations of how something works, not product promotion.
• Practical descriptions of process, verification and documentation.
• Honest accounts of what went wrong and what changed afterwards.
• No guarantees, no scare stories and no claims we cannot support.

How pieces are reviewed

Every piece is read against current published guidance before it appears. Where a requirement depends on a local rule or the edition of a standard, the piece says so and points the reader at the primary source rather than paraphrasing it.

How to contribute

Write to the editorial desk with a short outline and the audience you have in mind. We will reply with a view on fit and on what evidence would be needed to publish it.
